Restaurant bewertenGroup of 12 the place was pretty empty, but staff accommodated extra tables easily and service was quick. Nothing complicated, but a good spot near the hotel.
I was here on a Saturday recently and caught an east coast kitchen party so there was special food and entertainment. I had a steak and substituted fries for salad no problem. My party all tried different things, fish and chips, a surf and turf...burger with a crab cake in it, and one of my party is gluten-free and that was no problem too. Prices are reasonable. The entertainment was fantastic, it was a bit of a party. The place itself is really lovely, all wood and comfortable seats. The service is warm. For those who recall the 80s this might remind you of Cheers if you went a few times. There is a hotel attached and a movie theatre. If I was staying at the hotel I would definitely go to fionn's for my supper. Parkade is attached with ample parking.
Friendly and welcome atmosphere. Eccellent service and meal. Entertainment Andrew Scott and violinist very very good.
Crowds fill this place on weekend evenings since it 's a ticket toss from the Landmark theatres, the Delta Hotel, and all City Centre attractions from Oilers hockey to Art Gallery openings; its beers are varied, tasty, and well kept on draft; and its food portions are young...people 's delights too big for diets but who diets at that age and at a movie or on a date? Fish and chips of a magnitude to sate a starving walrus, yam fries to turn one red and salty, and salads of double normal sized that make saladers feel stuffed. Service is very fast and friendly, the place is generally clean if not sparkling because it gets so busy and beery, but no one seems worried. It is in an enviable location in a large multi story, rather posh shopping mall, anchored by the Landmark and the famed Hudson 's Bay Company Department store, known to all simply as The Bay . Did we enjoy our evening there? Decent food overload within half an hour before a movie? And good beer in giant glasses? We sure did, just don 't tell our waistlines, doctors, or gourmet friends. Yes, the building has the ubiquitous food floor , but this spot is way cool, as young patrons might say.
We went here after work and made it too happy hour! I thought that was great and the price was right. good selection of beer and with the night parking in the city center at $5 and a movie. it was a great time. to go with friends!
