Restaurant bewertenOne of the large restaurants that popped up in SEC ever since the popularity of Joeys took off over a decade ago. The only draw now for Earls is this happy hour they got going on now that includes tuna tartare and fish tacos to name a few. Both dishes weren't bad at all and the low price makes you want to order them again. Earls is a decent option if you've never been before, or if you can't get into rec room right across the parking lot. <br/ <br/ Sal says: Just try it (3.5/5)
The food and service were great. Was a 10 to 15 minute wait for dining. However, lounge booth was available immsdiately, service appeared to be quick.
We had heard of Earl's but had never been to one as they do not have any in the Toronto area. Nice atmosphere with good food. I am a bit fussy and decided on a burger. Our friends had pasta and a sandwich. Everyone's meal was very tasty. I wanted to try the dry ribs from the appetizer menu. I found them okay with little taste. Perhaps some salt or dip would've been nice.
My wife and I dropped in for a mid week lunch. The food was excellent and the service was really good. Not great if you are in a hurray, however, the atmosphere was really nice. Restaurant and bathrooms were immaculate. Having eaten at some of the surrounding places, this is by far a hidden gem in South Common. Highly recommend the margarita pizza and chipotle chicken sandwich.
26 people on Mother's Day during a Canadian volleyball championship is a recipe for hunger but not at Earl's on Calgary Trail.Geoff & Carmen were my main managers who were tops with professionalism, service and follow-up.Top it off with Mimi & Whitney for fast & efficient service to 15 eighteen year old boys, 3 coaches and 8 parents. The room was great. The food was plentiful and flavourful. The price reasonable. The Bombay Gin Gimlet (fresh lime juice & basil leaf) was refreshing!Afterwards we hung out on the sunny patio.I highly recommend this restaurant for small & large groups. They made our last team dinner a memorable occasion.
