Restaurant bewertenVery down home feel to this place. The lady serving was very friendly and came back just the right amount of times when we were waiting for our meals. She brought warm bread while we were waiting . We ordered the Prime Rib Dinner which came with mashed potatoes , mixed vegies and gravy. It was melt in your mouth tasty and so tender you could cut it with a fork. The service was very quick even though there were a lot of people in there . You can order online if you want to .It is on Hwy 16 east of Edmonton at the Tempo Gas station.
This restaurant is on the east side of Highway 16 just a little past Sherwood Park. We stumbled on it for lunch on our way to Elk Island National Park, Though the decor is a little dated like many truck stops, the food and service were both very good. When we arrived, the place was busy and there was only one server working. The service, though, was fast and friendly. My mother-in-law and I both ordered burgers while my wife had a clubhouse. The portion sizes were huge and the prices cannot be beat. The burgers were homemade and delicious. My wife said the clubhouse was the best she has ever had. I am sure this place will become a regular stop whenever we are traveling east of Edmonton on the Yellowhead Highway.
This is my 3rd attempt at eating here as i was working close by.
