Restaurant bewertenQuite authentic Hunanese cuisine. Our go-to place in Seattle whenever we crave for Hunanese food.As a Hunan native, the dishes here are definitely more authentic than most Hunanese restaurants you can find in Northern America. Not too spicy but still have most flavors you’d expect.Today the stinky tofu was a surprise. Although it was not as juicy as I would like, it captured the right flavor mix with the blackened fermented tofu fried to the right amount of crispiness!Highly recommend if you like Hunanese food!
Absolutely phenomenal food here. This isn't your grandpa's Chinese, it's the real Hunan deal. Mao's pork belly, pickled long beans, stinky tofu, steamed fish head with chillies, and so much more. We got Mao's pork belly, the pickled long beans with ground pork, and the steamed egg and it was all tremendous. Being from Denver we don't have much for regionally specific Chinese food so this was a huge treat for me. Don't pass this place up if you are in Edmonds, it's really very special.
Pretty Good Chinese restaurant! Order the fried chicken.
As a hunanese myself, I think this place is pretty decent! The eggplant pepper thousand year dish is decent and the fish soup is absolutely scrumptious! It’s close to what I get in China. The 热卤 is a bit salty but ok. Overall pretty good!
It's my first time ordered food from Dong Ting Chun. I ordered Pork Intestine Pot and Fried Lamb with Cumin. Food portions is generous. Both dishes I ordered are very delicious.Since this is the first time, I decided to give 4 stars. I would definitely try different dishes and come back to update my review again in the future.
