Restaurant bewertenFriendly owner who made us some delicious sandwiches. the tofu had a beautiful taste and texture, and the sauces delivered a beautiful dressing next to the fresh crumbles. they enjoy the avocado summer rolls with the peanut sauce, and they also had a few chocolate cups that were delicious bite size desserts.
I have thoroughly tested the vegan banh mi options in Edinburgh, and I must say that I was very impressed. There are two vegan options available, both of which are delicious in their own way. My personal favorite is the classic vegan banh mi, which features marinated tofu that is full of flavor. The tofu is served on a choice of roll with daikon and carrot, edamame pate, and plenty of fresh herbs. The combination of textures and flavors is fantastic, with the crispness of the pickled vegetables complementing the softness of the tofu. They also offer delightful vegan chocolate cups that are perfect for a post-sandwich treat. The restaurant is conveniently located near Waverley station and the Royal Mile. Overall, I highly recommend trying their vegan banh mi, although I must admit I am hesitant to share this review in case it becomes too popular with tourists. What's not to love? I dined at this restaurant a few weeks ago and was not impressed. The menu was limited and the food was disappointing. The staff was friendly and the drinks were decent, but overall the dining experience was lacking for me.
The fresh and tasty to-go banh mi sandwich is delicious. The classic tofu option is perfect for a satisfying lunch. Don't forget to try the small chocolate cups for a sweet treat.
Loved how fresh and delish everything was! No Kimchi, but many vegan options. I like to build my own train mi!
