Restaurant bewertenWent in for a quick takeaway coffee, manager (short hair) was so incredibly condescending to staff. Overheard the manager being rude to customers at till too. Staff appeared uncomfortable behind the counter, they deserve better treatment. At the very least, basic respect. Not a friendly or welcoming atmosphere at all due to this one individual, would recommended absolutely patching the Costa to avoid a negative experience.
Located on the second floor at the intersection of Hanover and Princes Streets, this restaurant offers ample seating and serves consistently high-quality coffee and food. The staff are also pleasant and welcoming.
Was in today at 12:30ish (02/08/2023) , great service from everyone behind the till, however the blonde female barista with short hair was extremely rude and talking down to her two co workers who were on the till and on the coffee machine. Made me and other customers very uncomfortable and felt really sorry for the other members of staff who don’t deserve to come to work and be spoken down to like that. She was totally out of order.
I will not be visiting any Costa restaurants in the near future after seeing the controversial advertisement featuring a cartoon character with a double mastectomy.
In need of coffee and not wishing to take a risk we drank here and found it to be pleasant coffee, atmosphere and value.
