Kreta Ayer - Eastwood

Had a quick dinner at Kreta Ayer one weekday night, was surprised there was no queue as I always notice a long queue on the weekend. We had the Crispy noodle with Seafood and Beef horfun. The crispy noodle tasted ok but the sauce was a bit bland. Same with the horfun. The laksa seemed very popular though and looked great, must try that next time! theengineereats.com

If you are looking for a place with great service and great food, look no further... Simply venture out to any restaurant other than this one!  These were our many issues: - Waiter didn't do their job, making the customer write down their order - Waiter didn't understand the customer's order (4 perfectly legible numbers from the menu), leading to much confusion - Waiter made us switch tables 10 minutes after sitting down in the restaurant - No apologies - New table had no cutlery - Nobody sat in our original table - Substandard food: chicken had no flavour, rice was too salty On the positive side, I did rather enjoy the two slices of cucumber on the side. Props to the farmers for that!

Die würzige Singapur-Mud Crab ist ziemlich authentisch. Das Salz und der Pfeffer Calamari ist sehr lecker. Beim Abendessen ist es normalerweise ziemlich beschäftigt und hat eine Warteschlange. Am besten für ein frühes Abendessen gehen, um die Warteschlange zu vermeiden. Das Restaurant ist nicht so groß.

We love visiting for lunch because it's quite good value, and the fact that their lunch specials go until 5pm means that sometimes we even manage to sneak in an early dinner! They have quite a range of options on their lunch specials menu, prices range from around $10-15, including a drink.  We find their menu options a little bit of a hit and miss- our favourites so far are the laksa, the fish soup and tom yum fried noodles.

Hatte den "ipoh hor spaß". Wenn Sie wirklich ein malaysisches Food-Aficionado sind, sollten Sie erkennen, dass es für ihn, Ipoh-Hor-Spaß zu sein, einen Garnelenaroma haben ... Kummer Niemals desto weniger war es lecker, habe mich nicht weggesaugt, aber war schnell und lecker. Bei einem Getränk von 11,80 USD mit einem Getränk ist es nicht schlecht für die Eastwood-Preise. Kummer Kummer Ich würde wiederkommen, um andere Gerichte auszuprobieren, obwohl ich schätze, ich hätte hohe Erwartungen an irgendetwas auf der Speisekarte.
