This restaurant has quickly become a weekend favorite. Their burritos are generously portioned, with fresh ingredients, and the Sunday Soul Food specials are great. So happy to get some chicken, greens, and Mac, with fresh cornbread! One plate can feed two modest eaters or one hungry full size dad! What is the point of having a restaurant if you are going to serve unseasoned food that is probably from a can? Dry rice, unflavored black beans, unseasoned peppers and onions, no tofu available, salsa probably from a jar. Go to Chipotle or Taco Bell and have a better meal. This was our first time ordering from the Burrito Bowl and also likely the last. The food we received was decent though not exactly what was ordered and we paid extra for guacamole which we didn’t receive. I called the restaurant right after we ate to express my disappointment and the gentleman who answered the phone just kept telling me that he had “made it himself “ and that I was wrong. I wasn’t even asking for a refund. As a small business owner myself, I wanted them to know I was disappointed. After his response, I have no desire to try them again.
