Goong Korean BBQ Restaurant

We finally made it to goong, but eating was not as exciting or authentic as we thought it would be. everything was good, nothing was particularly bad, but definitiw not the money we started with a good old Korean fried chicken and thought they were pretty average. the original teig was crispy, well seasoned, but very standard. yenny would normally go crazy for a good sweet chili sauce, but she didn't. there was an extra $2 to mix 2 aromes, so $2.75 for every little wing

Great atmosphere and friendly service. Recommend the fried chicken wings (original garlic), jap chae, marinated beef short ribs and seared pork belly.

I've been to a lot of Asian dining places and this place was great. The menus were the best I'd ever seen because you can see exactly what you get and the service was really nice. I felt very at home, whilst being in a high decor-state

We invited our colleague from Korea to dinner. Seoul citizen. Ordered the sea food beef BBQ sets. Wow amazing amount of foood for 4. All cooked by restaurant staff at the table. Also had fried chicken wings. Our korean born lady colleague seemed to enjoy too.Was a moderately busy week night in restuarant. Mainly couples. Really loved the steamed egg dish. Light and warm fulfilling. All 4 of us had korean wine. Deliciously dizzying with the BBQ. Seoul citizien recounted his memories of the drink in hometown. Previously Shilla, the rebranding added some more class to this Korean BBQ restaurant. As reflected in the prices, quality of meats were above average. On this occasion the soy marinade was a tad too sweet, otherwise it had good flavour. The seafood pancake and fried chicken wings were excellent, however portion sizes could have been more generous for the price On this Sat night, the place was bustling and noisy. Waitresses were largely attentive. Plus point would be the location and secure free parking.
