Sufiya's Grill - East Meadow

I am very happy to have stumbled upon this secret gem. While many have given this spot a good review, I still don't think it has gotten the attention it deserves. Writing positive reviews is one of the most challanging things to do. With that being said there is only one negative thing I can say about this resteraunt which is the prices of their menu items. The prices I would say are justified but still it is tough dealing with those prices. The food is certainly cooked well and very flavorful. The servers are very nice and not intrusive whatsoever. They wont be coming up to you while you eat every five seconds like some other places. Overall I had a wonderful time and will be coming back.

Great place if you are looking for Mediterranean food. The portions were huge and worth the price. Give it 4 stars simply because the location is not so spacious, especially when you go as a family. Your Turkish coffee is a must try after dinner!

Excellent Turkish food. However, the wait staff is mostly Hispanic (just an observation), so they could not answer some of the questions we had about Turkey. The kebabs that we had were delicious. One negative the waitress forgot to put in my order for soup, so I just said forget it. If you want rice, which comes with the main course, other than the standard brown, white or saffron, there is almost a $4 extra charge, which to me is a bit high. That being said, the cranberry rice that I had, and the cherry rice, that one other in our party had, were excellent. All in all maybe 4.4 or 4.5 stars.

I love the service. atmosphere and eat here. we have the lavish and the lavish on a spit. the Persian ice melts in her mouth and leaves it with a taste that wants to come back for more.

We love sufiyas! we enjoyed a wonderful meal fresh amazing food, beautiful presentation, good portion size (has stayed enough for lunch the next day! and great service. prices reasonable especially for such a beautiful meal. highly recommended!
