The Burger Room - East Dunbartonshire

Great food, great price and fantastic customer service. We shall be back! had a great lunch for £5.00 and that was to course...best nan bread ever too!

I previously wrote a review for this restaurant. I have visited this place twice since then, and both times the food was terrible. The burger was undercooked and the Coney Island fries stuck to the foil because they had run out of tray covers. The food left everyone with stomach issues. My girlfriend wanted to give them one last chance, but it was another disappointment. They need to either keep a chef who knows what they're doing or they will have to close their doors for longer than just out of work hours. I am very disappointed as I had praised this place before and the first two visits were excellent. Sorry guys.

My girlfriend and I finally went with the Burger Room and had zero regrets. Im an avid cook and make my own burgers and this place did not leave me disappointed. Not only were the burgers great but the Coney island fries are really good. This along with the speedy delivery had us ordering again the following day. I always read the bad reviews as well as the great and sometimes yea.. Burgers don't cook through... It happens. And our delivery driver was perfectly fine so these guys have clearly rectified their flaws unlike many others. If you want a taste of something different and a burger that's fills that hunger you get when watching man vs food... This is the place to go.

We waited for over 2 hours for a cold, congealed, and inedible delivery. The delivery guy was terrible, as he didn't knock on the door but instead thumped it so hard that the whole house shook. When asked about it, he admitted to falling into the door. It was obvious that he was under the influence of something. He later returned with a melted ice-cream, apologizing for the mistake. The only redeeming qualities were the okay Coleslaw and the fact that after many calls to the restaurant and Just-Eat, we were granted a full refund. The whole ordeal took 4 hours. It's unfortunate to leave a negative review, but the meal was completely inedible, and we lost our appetite quickly. We won't be ordering from here again. Apologies, but it's not worth it.

Waited an hour for delivery. Order wrong even though explained in detail what we wanted. Food was cold. Phoned to get a new one sent out, was told it would take another hour or I can have partial refund, which was less than what the item originally cost and then lied and said delivery was more than it is usually. I've ordered from here many times so I know how much things are, we order the same things. Apparently delivery is £2.50 for less than 1 mile away. Works out cheaper to order through just eat which is normally more expensive. The lady on the phone was abrupt, didn't care the order was wrong and was like either take the refund or wait another hour! Needless to say I won't be ordering from the burger room or the Ashoka brassiere again. I'll just order from the Indian Cottage who never get it wrong!
