Restaurant bewertenA nice location in Exeter with a good sized car park that costs £5.00 per night. We had a double room which was decent enough....not the best but OK for a night. The curtain backs were in shreds and we found an invasive species of the Ladybird on the bed! Other than that the bedroom was OK, if a touch tired! Lifts worked which was great, although the corridor carpets weren't the best. Staff very friendly and helpful all in OK.
I would like to thank very Jez for helping me finding my vehicle reg who found my photos in my deleted items which could not find and he helped massively. The bar staff are amazing as I have before as lone traveller for work, they make me feel like it's a home. Sally behind the bar always make a huge effort to time and talk to me about my family and makes me feel as part of a team. Louise who is assistant manager always speaks to me, nothing again is to much trouble, even when I needed some more milk, coffee for my room she was there like a rocket. Marstons should be very proud to have these people that work for them, as my background was in the hotel trade I would loved to have this team working for me.
I stayed at the White Hart (Marston’s) as part of a tour group. Sadly the rooms were outdated, unclean and carpet moth eaten We were given a 20% discount voucher for dinner, there was only one chef on duty, fellow guests had waited an hour for their food so I opted for the Wetherspoons over the road. Breakfast was good, choices included hot breakfast. And the location was good, only a couple of minutes walk from the Cathedral and the Quayside. On check out, there was no staff on reception so was not able to speak with staff about the experience. I would never stay here again.
I have dined at The White Hart twice now and have enjoyed the delicious food. However, both times I ordered the mixed grill, the chicken steak was missing from the plate. The first time this happened a few months ago, I brought it to the attention of the staff and they assured me it wouldn't happen again. Unfortunately, it did. The food is lovely, but be sure to double check that you receive all the items you are supposed to get.
This quaint and historic pub and hotel is located near Exeter city center, just a short walk from the Quay Car Park. The food served here is of excellent quality for a chain restaurant.
