Restaurant bewertenI had a fantastic breakfast at this restaurant. I enjoyed a delicious and filling Twillingate breakfast, consisting of fish cakes and beans served with homemade raisin bread.
Twillingate is incredibly charming. There are so many wonderful sights to see and beautiful art galleries to explore while strolling around. During our stay, we hoped to find something delicious to eat and we found just that at this lovely little place. We were treated to soul food by the friendly and personable owner, Joyce, who was as delightful as the treats she served. The cozy tea room is the type of place that would make anyone want to return to Twillingate.
Felt like I visited my grandmother. this sweet lady took the time to explain the local desserts. we made a baptism with fresh bread. everything was amazing. if we had been in town for longer, we would have been back....Highly recommended! (have the toutons!)
We had a delicious breakfast at the Cozy Tea Room. Two charming sisters run the Tea Room, and shared stories of the lovely decorations on the walls and customers. We especially loved the photo taken by Don Lane! There was Gluten-Free bread for husband, and delicious...things to eat for me. I had fishcakes, beans, eggs and homemade bread and jam. It was partidgeberry jam, and the sister who makes it has a special way to make it extra good. I bought some Maid of Honour tarts to try. There were pastry with raspberry jam inside and a coconut topping. I learned this 2-week trip that rural Newfoundlanders eat margarine, not butter. If they had been made with butter, I think they would have been one of the loveliest sweets ever. If you eat out in only one place in Twillingate, I recommend the Cozy Cafe. The genuine hospitality and delicious food will make this a memorable meal.
We had a fantastic meal here a few days ago. This place is a hidden gem. Even our 15 month old toddler enjoyed the fish brewis, and toutons.
