Restaurant bewertenEnjoyed their gelato and boba teas, but there were many more options one of our group chose a smoothy instead. Easy walking access (two blocks) from the downtown train depot makes this a refreshing stop after your train ride. Pass up the chain ice cream place and go to this local option instead!
Great coffee and gelato. One of the easier places to find parking nearby. They have some gluten-free options and are working to add more. I love the quaint outdoor seating and the indoor area is great for doing computer work. Ask the girls about the history of the building. The little bookstore is also fun.
It was great to pop in here. It's bustling with conversation and you see a great mixture of regulars and people passing through. The coffee is great and the staff is kind and helpful. One batista explained that their lavender syrup is made in house and that is probably why their honey lavender latte tastes a bit better than most coffee spots. Bonus points for a great waffle
On a tip from Melanie, at the Durango Downtown Ambassador kiosk, we visited Hermosa Cafe for a coffee snack. The food options in the cooler were pretty well picked through so we went with a Roasted Veggie sandwich. Coffee’s were tasty, and certainly on the stronger side. Staff was friendly. The neighboring shop had live music playing outside and he was AWESOME; very mellow and talented. It was the cherry on top of our morning here in Durango. Sadly, we are posting a one star deduction as the staff somehow forgot to make our sandwich and after 20 minutes we went in to check on it. About 10 minutes later it came out. We weren’t in a hurry so it wasn’t a big deal. All in all good visit.
Loved this place! Great coffee, fresh very tasty quiche cinny rolls. Lots of seating clean bathroom. Also, the service was amazing which is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend checking this place out!
