Restaurant bewertenBeautiful food and presentation. Separate vegan menu full of delicious options
Jizo offers a full vegan menu and excellent service! I sought recommendations and a friendly vegan staff member helped me choose some delicious dishes, which I truly enjoyed. I tried the Teriyaki Tofu Balls, Vegan Karaage Entree, and Kushiage Tofu with Sesame Seeds. I had a great time dining solo, but I look forward to returning with friends to share multiple entree platters and small plates!
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. All of the dishes we tried were excellent. Even with 3 people ordering 4 entrees, a main dish, and a drink each, our total bill was under $130. We left feeling full and happy. We will definitely return the next time we are in Dunedin.
I visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was amazing, with a wide variety of options for all diners and excellent customer service. I tried the chasu ramen (pork belly) which was packed with veggies, mung beans, sesame seeds, pickled radish, ramen egg, and seaweed. I prefer my noodle bowls to have plenty of ingredients, so I was thrilled with this dish. However, the meat could have been more tender and flavorful, and the noodles did not resemble traditional Japanese ramen; they tasted more like egg noodles. I may opt for the udon next time!
I absolutely loved the fact that they had a separate vegan menu at this restaurant. I decided to try the spicy miso ramen with vegetables and tofu, which was priced at a reasonable $16.50 and came with a generous amount of food in the bowl. I also tried the tofu sushi balls as a delicious appetizer option, where you could order just a few or a lot depending on your hunger level. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes for Veganuary.
