Restaurant bewertenVery friendly owner and personal. eating was excellent. we ate three times on this beautiful place during 6 days when they stay close. highly recommended. burger and fish were excellent. good work.
Visited this pub during the stay on looe when it was dog friendly and we had our cockapoo with us. easy to reach and find of looe, all the staff were absolutely fantastic, warm, friendly, welcoming, even if our puppies made a chaos of the floor
Really great food and a cute small town pub. Would definitely recommend dinner here if you're in the area. All locally sourced ingredients and it shows.
Booked in for dinner on a recommendation from our hotel, really glad that we went. The pub itself is really lovely log fire, exposed beams and cheery staff. We had the mackerel paté and soup (cauliflower and stilton). Both were excellent, and the mains didn't disappoint either pork steak and mussels. Both were cooked to perfection. We were too full for dessert, so can't say much about that I'm afraid. Atmosphere is good, and the pub itself is clean. Staff were attentive to patrons without any fuss and the menu is very varied. I wish I had stayed longer so I could try some other items, and maybe even a dessert.
Went for a birthday meal, had a bad experience with two meals, because the chef didn't read the waitresses' notes correctly, Wasn't allowed to take a birthday cake in. The landlady didn't want to listen to reason. Would not recommend The Plough at Duloe, Cornwall. Price per person: £100+ Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking
