We reserved a table for an early Sunday lunch and were warmly welcomed by the owners and staff. The starters and Sunday roast were outstanding, leaving us no room for dessert! The service was incredibly dog-friendly, and all the staff were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The prices were reasonable, offering great value for money. We had dined at a supposedly better restaurant the day before, which was twice as expensive and only a fraction of the quality found at The Plough. We can't wait to return! I’ve been a head chef for 14 years and this is the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. Been sick twice and stuck in the toilet. The staff are very rude and have an awful attitude. Lovely relaxed little pub in a small, sweet village. Popped in for a couple of beers and was met by very kind waiting staff. Would visit again. Vegetarian options: Really lovely to see vegan options in a country pub. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
