Mario's Italian - Dubuque

Visited from the city and came here recommended and was not disappointed. two of us had the pan and enjoyed it and third had filled bowls and also liked there meal. we wouldn't hesitate to come back if we're ever back in town.

Amazing family owned, one of a kind homemade Italian Restaurant. It is located in a really cool area of downtown Dubuque, Iowa which has transformed itself nicely from a rough and tumble river town into a solid destination town with quality culture and culinary. The food was amazing, the help friendly and educated and real not rehearsed. A MUST stop.

Used to be so good. This time our panzerottis were doughy and there was about a pint of grease in the bottom of our to go containers. We threw them away. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Heard from a friend about Mario's so my wife and I decided to give it a try.. Short and sweet... Fabulous food no disappointment here!! A must try if your in the area with easy access..

The food and the service were good. The atmosphere was exactly as expected. We enjoyed our time there.
