Restaurant Maxime - Drummondville

Staying the night in Drummondville and out looking over the city when we noticed a lot of people going into this restaurant. We drove around a bit and came back for dinner. It is quite large inside and seems to be frequented by many locals - when we commented how busy it was they said it was quiet for a Tuesday evening. Many seniors in the place. We seemed to be the only English speaking people and the waitress and other staff were very friendly and we communicated quite well even though it was obvious that we were an abnormally in the restaurant.We only had burgers and poutine but the price was unbelievable (don't go to fast food places this restaurant was definitely better and cheaper and better). The whole menu seemed to be very reasonably prices and would suit a young family's budget.

For Restaurant Week, there was a choice of appetizers. I chose the potato leek soup. There was no choice for the main course--it was surf and turf--a T-bone steak with two shrimp. The choices for dessert were blueberry banana Foster cheesecake or baked Hawaiian pineapple. I chose the blueberry cheesecake.
