Restaurant bewertenRecently heard that Duston's was making decent steak and cheese subs. Had to try. Sandwich was pretty good. Steak was tender and delicious, plenty of melty cheese, fried onions were great and in the right ratio. Overall solid...... except the roll. The roll was not good. Chewed like sponge cake. Toasting it may have helped, but I think they should maybe take some time and bake some real good ones. Especially as it's completely different than the advertised seeded rolls on the website. Bake a roll like the one pictured on your website and I'll be back weekly.
A week ago I stopped at Duston's to grab a quick sub for lunch. I choose the Mambo Steak and Cheese as a wrap which came out stuffed with steak, extra meats, veggies and pepper Jack cheese plus sauce. This is not a wimpy sub I found out with decent heat! To take home for dessert I also snagged a pair of lemon bear claws top rate pastries. My one complaint is pricing is not obvious when ordering and my wrap was over $13! So buyers beware. Still the bear claws at $3.25 seems like a deal given the size and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The shop is well laid out just remember if you are late on a Saturday afternoon like I was some pastries will be sold out like the eclairs : .
What an absolute embarrassment. I cannot believe I just paid 30$ for 7 tenders and a few mozz sticks and poppers. Absolutely ridiculous. No prices listed. I used to pay 30$ to feed 3 people and some. I just got blatantly ripped off. New ownership is an embarrassment to the Dustons name. I hope your business fails so more people don't fall for your blatant rip off. What kind of deli doesn't have honey mustard? I came to get what I used to get for years and years and I can promise you. I will never be back and I will suggest to everyone I know also to never return. Shady business practice.
I 've ordered from Duston 's quite a few times. My orders have been placed on the phone with no major problems. Recently. I called to place an order and was greeted with a recording that left me no way to place an order unless I was sitting at a computer. It appears there is no way to put in a verbal order. You have to sit down at your computer and order thru their Web site . I 'm not sure what kind of brilliant business strategy this is. Perhaps it 's part of a new business technique to turn a relatively simple and convenient way to order into extra steps. I just want to place an order, not position myself to communicate with the space station. O ' my order 3-4 times a month generally would run 50-65 dollars.
I had the pleasure of trying two donuts from Duston's this morning that a co worker brought into work and WOW! They were so fresh, and the filling was plentiful and delicious! Will definitely be heading over to Duston's this weekend for more!
