Restaurant bewertenThinking of treating yourself to a breakfast here in the New Year?... Save your money and move down the road to Morrisons. We have just had the worst breakfasts ever. Ordered full English without the egg, tomato and mushroom... Nothing offered in replacement and charged item by item so what should have been £4.25 for a full English breakfast in this miserable, soulless cafe ended up being £5.25 for a plate of cold, congealed food. We also ordered toast which never arrived. Complaints fell on deaf ears so we complained at the service desk to be told it's run by a franchise and they are always receiving complaints about the food and dismal service. Morrisons was closed so we thought we would give Tesco's cafe a try. Huge mistake... Will not be going again. Get your act together Tesco cafe franchise and try to provide a decent service!
Been here before in the past dried up breakfasts and not very nice coffee, thought give it another try being a very cold morning , wow wow wow, excellent breakfast , and out of the world coffee. well done on the changes look forward to coming again.
I decided to try out Tesco for breakfast and was very disappointed. I received 1 bacon, 1 sausage, and 1 overcooked egg, along with a spoonful of beans, 2 hash browns, and 1 slice of white toast. I was not given the option of choosing brown or white toast. We waited so long that we had already finished our tea. One positive point was that the food was served hot. However, at £15, it was very poor value for money, as I suspect all the ingredients were from Tesco's own value range.
100 percent shocking can't call that an English breakfast .... It was like rubber with concrete cold toast ... Shame on you !!!
We often come in late at night. We have always been greeted by a lovely lady with grey hair, a lady with a black ponytail and glasses and a lady with brown hair who has big eyelashes at closing time. We always have a smile and say Thankyou but this evening we were Id’d for a monster which is fair enough, my friend didn’t have hers and instead of just telling us politely like we all know she should’ve she decided to raise her voice and be almost aggressive telling my friend ‘put it back and get another quick we are trying to close we wanna go home’ please remind your staff she gets paid to be there so the aggressiveness and nasty attitude only made us all uncomfortable. My friend then said ‘no take your time’ and your staff member says ‘the slower you go the less you get’ then walked away to talk about us to the lady next to her. All 4 of us have been in customer service for years and know that that attitude would’ve got a disciplinary. There was also other customers who were older that didn’t get spoken too or ‘warned’ the way we did. Hopefully she was just having an off day.
