They didn’t quite get it right with the smashed pigeon; you actually need to crush it rather than just pouring it over. We also ordered the fish and huh, both of which were fried too hard.

I ordered the short rib macaroni and cheese along with candied yams. Unfortunately, the macaroni was extremely dry and lacked freshness, while the ribs had little meat on them. Overall, there wasn't much to enjoy, and I won't be returning.

I was eager to try the Smothered Chicken, but the young lady who took my order didn’t realize that the meat was wings when she asked if I wanted white or dark. I think the menu needs some improvements. I had the rice and gravy, but it was quite unpleasant, and the collard greens were big but lacked flavor. I could have gone to Crystal's instead; at least they serve a good meal.

I went there today and ordered meatloaf makkaroni and cheese and yams, when I say this food looks like it was sitting in a refrigerator for 3 days and then heated again. I don't know how someone might be proud to serve something that looked so terrible that the makkaroni and be so cheeky and look as old as the sweetness yams looked like they were sitting at the bottom of the pot for 3 days and they just sat it in the container and gave it to me the meat laaf oh my gott was a part of the terrible food I've ever been trying to find out. I do not recommend anyone who wastes their money in this restaurant

Food is good. Cornbread, Mac cheese, chicken, pot roast, catfish a lil salty, green not bad just to many stems
