Restaurant bewertenAfter a very poor breakfast experience in our hotel, decided to try here. Excellent croissant, really crispy exploding baguette and good coffee.
Travelling back to the UK via ferry, stopped in Dieppe for lunch, walking along the strip on busy bank holiday Monday, beautiful weather, all the cafes full to bursting! This cafe could see we were looking for lunch, asked us to wait for a table, which they found for us within a few minutes. Ordered drinks and meals easily, extensive menu choices. All the food coming out looked good. Our food arrived quickly and tasted amazing. No room for desserts though! All in all meal and drinks for 3 55 euros, same as UK really, but better quality. Would we go again if in Dieppe? Yeah maybe, but there are so many places to choose from.
We entered this café we were shown to a table by a waitress. When I told her we only wanted a drink she slammed the menus into her hand and strode away. She then went to clean other tables and was muttering and grimacing. My husband could see the faces she was pulling at us. Our friends and myself simultaneously decided we would walk out. When the waitress saw what we were doing she shouted Si, Si and gestured to sit down again!! Needless to say we didn 't. We will not be going there again!!
Was expecting more from La Cafe Suisse. It was busy when we visited and was a bit cramped for me. The food was okay to good but 15 euros for a burger was a bit expensive I thought. More vegetarian options please too
The food was delicious and the personal really nice! The place is a little bit small but it’s ok! You should visit!
