El Brasero - Diekirch

We came with a group for diner and made a reservation beforehand. We got a table in the restaurant and needed to wait long before we could order drinks. We got the menu and I think the prices were a bit high. After we got our drinks the woman told us that more than 6 dishes were sold out. We ordered 5x spareribs but that was also not possible she got only 3 left. We've asked for the bill but then everything went strange, the woman was frustrated that we wanted to go and became very rude. We paid our drinks and left. We are not coming back to this place. I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The chorizo and steak were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and I couldn't find any faults with either dish. The service was excellent as well, with no issues at all. After my meal, I had a delightful chat with the chef as it was not too busy. The staff were very friendly and I had a great time with them. I was disappointed by my experience at this restaurant. The prices were high for the limited choices available. The staff was unfriendly and even rude to other customers. The music was too loud for a restaurant, and on top of that, a child was running around the small restaurant until late at night (possibly the owner's child). I don't fault the child for their behavior, but it made for a chaotic dining experience. Overall, I won't be returning to this establishment.

A Portuguese steakhouse with high-quality meat and excellent service. However, there is a tendency to use too much garlic in their dishes. If you're not a fan of Portuguese cuisine or excessive garlic, it's best to request dishes without garlic.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food quality is amazing, the wine selection is great, and the service provided was exceptional. The chef even personally checked on us during our meal. In addition, they offered us a complimentary digestif, which is uncommon in Luxembourg. The prices are very reasonable considering the overall quality of the experience.
