Darleys Terrace - Derby

Our experience in darley’s was exalted. their customer service surpassed the expectations for a mile! we were by no means simple customers, but the staff at darley’s could not do enough for us. A special thank you to ali and Hannah to ensure our night was excellent. eating was a work of art and really gave us the WOW experience. the chefs are very talented! a great thank you to all those who are so attentive, friendly and courteous. would highly recommend darley as a venue for anyone considering this.

Coming to this place is an alpt room that is just off straight due to a bridge lock is by an enterprise (business) park that has a sign up that there is a £1 toll fee that is strange, as it also says no public access! to get to the opposite side of the river was also almost impossible, since the Derby Council did not think of adding any bridges to go! derby council has also not thought to make the river a better tourist attraction that could have at the picnic area, parks, pubs and other restaurants. at the end we left derby with the feeling, it was a bit of a landfill, so unlikely to return.

An absolutely beautiful evening taster menu meal for my wife’s birthday. Service was impeccable. The food was really fantastic. Expected it to be a bit “stuffy” and “old”, but it had a good ambience, decor and feel about it.

Absolutely delicious. Easily catered for coeliacs. The wine recommended was spot on. Will come again.
