True Food Kitchen - Denver

The restaurant recently updated their menu, with many familiar items still available. The service was excellent, the hummus was flavorful, and the chocolate cake was simply delightful. The waitress was attentive without being overbearing. Unfortunately, the double vegan cheeseburger I ordered had a very dry patty that was almost inedible. The bun was fine, but the patty left much to be desired.

I am a big fan of the food at True Food. I visit the Cherry Creek location at least once every other month. The edamame dumplings were fantastic! The only downside to my recent experience was the rude and condescending waiter. His negative attitude really put a damper on the meal. I hope that the service improves next time because it truly affected the overall dining experience.

It was challenging to have a conversation at our table because we were seated directly across from the kitchen. The restaurant's acoustics amplified the noise from the kitchen, making it difficult to hear each other unless we were seated away from the kitchen. The tables around us were cramped, contributing to the overall loudness in the restaurant, which made it hard to communicate with each other.

Everything was excellent as always. The meatloaf was delicious and the lettuce wrapped burgers were great too.
