Restaurant bewertenA small Vietnamese bakery shop selling various types of baked and steamed rolls. There is no price tag on the display elements so you don't know how much it really costs! Buy 4 bungalows for $10 without reception! It is too expensive for only 4 bungalows! I don't understand, Vietnamese and I wonder that the employee has overloaded me!!! Make sure you ask the price of each item before you make any purchases, especially you do not speak their language! The baked rolls are fine, but not as good as the other reviews said. The fillings are very sweet, except the BBQ pork bunny.
Went there for 2 things. Egg custard and sesame balls. The egg custard crust was very flaky, which was good. But the custard was probably the smallest I've seen. It's about half of the size of the ones in NYC, Calif or my hometown of Texas. The sesame ball, I thought it had the filling of red beans, but due to language barrier with the owner, I couldn't understand her well. Anyway, it's not red beans, but it's the other filling of yellow in color. I think it's the mung bean?I heated both in the toaster oven to refresh the taste and texture. They tasted fine, but not quite up to my expectation.
The staff were very helpful and fun. The seasame balls are delicious and a must buy! Other really good items we got were the BBQ bun and pineapple bun. I will be back to try more items!
This bakery is phenomenal. The sesame balls are amazing every time, and I believe they are the best in the city (I've tried a lot of different places). Everything here is consistently good and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Their char siu bao is amazing! We are from San Francisco where there is an abundance of excellent bakeries. Celestial is definitely the best we have had in Colorado! We loved both steamed and baked, but particularly enjoyed the baked.
