Restaurant bewertenI was looking for a real neighborhood pizza joint and we've made goals here. The atmosphere was exactly what you want, it was a really humble environment with friendly staff. The waiter took the time to discuss recommendations with us and after we ate, he talked to us about the neighborhood and Denver. As a visitor looking for things to do his advice, was welcome and appreciated. But then we'll talk about the food. The big ass disc of the pizza is indeed a big ass disc. I'm a big guy, but one was a meal for me. The crust, oh God the crust, I will dream of this crust. It was crispy at the bottom but you could still fold it like a real New York style pane and the inside of the crust had the perfect chewing. Maybe it was the best pizza crust I ever had. Many places can get parts of the crust right, but this place has nailed every aspect of it. I have the Caesar salad as a side and they make their own Caesar dress in the house and it was spectacular.
Biscuit Sammy's and cocktails were delicious. This place has a great atmosphere and several locations for a reason!
My partner and I visited Denver for the first time and we had an explosion! Fortunately, a close friend moved from us to Denver for a few years and they were free to show us. They showed us a strip of Broadway that had a beautiful group of amazing vintage shops, bars and best of all pizza shops. I love the Atomic pizza that you build your own piece. I have my meat. My partner has them with sharp chicken sausage, garlic and basil. The cocktails were divine. Unfortunately, I forgot to write the names, but I remember a peach drink that was super refreshing. The outdoor terrace provided perfect seats for people watching. If we return to Denver in the future, you can bet we meet this place again.
I understood it right when I was super hungry. Line was out of the door with a super long wait, but we found the side To-go window opened. The best pizza I had in Denver. Not sure if I was super hungry or that pizza kissed me on the forehead when she came down from heaven.
I 've enjoyed DB (Broadway) and Sully 's (delivery) for awhile, so checking out Atomic Cowboy seemed natural. While there was an issue w. the pizza on my first order, they were responsive and got it resolved; great customer service. The NY style pizza is definitely one of the better slices I 've had in Colorado, and I 've tried 20+ places in the denver metro area. Fresh salads and good portions. The biscuits are plentiful and recommended. I 'm a classics guy, so The Lola is my favorite: buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, homemade honey butter, and maple syrup. I 'll sometimes add an egg and hot sauce, both recommended.
