The Solar Saloon - Delaware

We had time to kill before we met up with friends for dinner, so we happened upon The Solar Saloon! Love that it is on the 2nd floor of the building. Cute little bar with excellent Happy Hour Specials and a Bomb Shot of the week. We felt right at home. Both the bartender and the patrons at the bar were friendly and the beer was ice cold!! Got to meet the owner before we left and he was joking and having a good time with everyone! Will definitely go back!!

Just an average bar. Nothing very special and nothing bad.

My friend and I found Solar Saloon over a year ago. Solar Saloon is up from the Gelato Square of Williams and Sandusky. When entering, it was clearly a local bar. We were quickly greeted by Jeannine, the bartender, and immediately received our drinks. We love people watching and hearing several conversations. Many of the locals were very friendly. We knew the beer was cold, the bar was clean and we would return what we often returned. I think we have been called norm one time or two, as we are often.

Very cool spot. Be prepared though, it's on the second. Friendly staff.

This bar is a great time! Staff and atmosphere are hard to beat. definitely worth a visit. Do not forget the stairs when leaving
