Restaurant bewertenThe pizza and food is not all that. Place feels and looks dirty, I Will request a health and sanitary inspection. It smells like mold, and cleaning chemicals to mask the nasty smells. Very disappointed ?
I can not say how disappointed I am. I have give their pizza rave reviews for years. Tonite, we each ate a partial slice and no more. The ingredients were not evenly spread out, the eggplant was burnt and not a little! Like black and ashy ..... tomato sauce not spread out, the big chunks of sausage were just nasty. And to top it of, the crust was overdone and crunchy. I have referred people to Anthony's for years. Today, dominos or Pizza Hut would have been better. And it was nearly $40 for one large pie. Color me still hungry.
No offense to Florida but coming from New England pizza is not the same. However, Anthony's is pretty close to our N. Y. City pie. Nice thin crust, sweet sauce, enough) good Italian sausage, and meatballs almost as good as mine! Great place for great Italian food. On your pie? You don't get choked with cheese. Too bad didn't live closer. Today's a lucky day! I have never ever had a calzone in my life, they've just never looked appealing to me. One of these days I have to try one. It will be here for sure. The same with a cannoli , never tasted one. Don't know about this one?
First let me begin with the bathroom. Regardless, of the time of day you go if it's first thing in the morning or later in the day. One thing you can guarantee is a filthy bathroom. Is there a reason why you keep a white trash can that is no longer white so your guests get the pleasure to see the uncleanliness of your establishment. Also, your one cook which I believe in the son NEVER smiles or greets the customers. Way to make people feel welcomed... No wonder Angelina's across the street is always slammed.
The food is molto bene and the service is good too. I eat there on a regular basis. Only thing is they need to crank up the AC. It was to warm for me inside
