Casa Torres Mexican - Decatur

I always have a fantastic time dining here. The parking lot is typically crowded, but don't let that deter you. The chips and salsa are top-notch, and you can even request a delicious off-menu spicy salsa. The portions are generous, and even the discounted lunch menu can easily satisfy two people - just ask for an extra plate to share. If the main parking lot is full, there is additional parking in the back (by the front of the building) owned by the restaurant, including space for their employees. This family-owned establishment offers great food at a great location and great prices.

The wait was reasonable for a Friday night. Our food and drinks were brought to us quickly. We were satisfied with the chicken chauves, but wish the tortillas were homemade and that the beans and rice had more flavor. The guacamole, salsa, queso, and cheese appetizers were good. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely return to try something new. The service was excellent!

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, but it always seemed to be crowded whenever we passed by. Finally, we were able to get a table at 2 o'clock when it wasn't too busy. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic!

Eating was hot and fresh. the waitress kept us on salsa and drink. Eat tasted great. they are currently short occupied so that sometimes there can be something waiting.

Best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I mean everything hit today. The chips were warm and tasty, the hot sauce was not too hot or mild but it was sooo favorable. I had a cheese and beef enchiladas with beans and rice- all well, perfect and I never say everything is perfect. Normally at a Mexican restaurant something is good, but something is just okay. My highest recommendation. Oh and the service- despite being very busy with a note that stated they were short staffed, everything was fine. Our server, Jesús did an excellent job while waiting on several tables.
