Mck's Tavern - Daytona Beach

Yeah, we found it. Everyone wants to eat here. It's fun. The food is amazing. You want a reub? Understood. You want a gut on tap. Understood. We love this place and we will come back 1000 times.

The food was good. Had the Gary Sandwich, Caesar Salat and Clam Chowder. Service was great, fast and friendly. A nice guinness cleaned.

We had the mac and cheese rolls and it was very good. The beer selection is great. Thursday's $6.00 Burgers are the best excuse to go home on a weekday.

I was here a few times and the last was by far the most interesting experience. Usually the service is somewhat slow for how busy it is, but yesterday was one for the books. There were 6 of us, all 6 drinks ordered and 4 dishes ordered. Drinks came quickly for 2 people in our group, the food came for the 4 who ordered, but 4 still do not get their beers. When she asked about the beers, the waitress didn't find it strange that everyone had food and 2 people had beer, but the other 4 didn't have their beers. She went to the bar, took a beer that was there, brought it over and asked us to try to find out what beer it was. She didn't find that strange that she was trying a random beer. When she questioned that we wanted to try this beer blindly for her, her answer, ?well yea, could you hold it like that? Well, I would hope that after I tried it, you wouldn't put it on the counter to give another customer, but who knows about it. The beer was wrong and finally, 10 minutes after our meal, we received the right beers. Again, none of this waitress seemed. And if you? back to this place, double check that they give you the right beverage order and ready to wait even if they? re half full.

You definitely get bang for your buck at this place. The service is on point, the servers are very attentive and friendly. The bar tender makes great drinks. The **** Mary is made with their own homemade mix. We also got the Irish Coffee as a dessert, which was very good. The fish and chips were very tasty. We will definitely come back to this place again the next time we are in Daytona Beach. They also have nice outdoor covered seating as well.
