Rey's Roast - Dayton

Our party of eight was pleased and impressed! The meals were exceptional! The desserts were imaginative and tasty! Dayton has a real gem in the Weinhard Cafe!

The French Dip, Cesar Salad, Turkey Sandwich, and Clam Chowder were all absolutely delicious! The service was prompt and pleasant. The meals were filling and fresh with lovely presentation. The atmosphere was also comfortable but modern. Would absolutely recommend!

I love this place! I stop there for lunch often and have been delighted each time. The staff is terrific and the menu has offerings for any taste buds. I am gluten intolerant and the restaurant has many main course and desert gluten free offerings. You will nor be disappointed.

Meals were not only delicious, but unusual and exotic. It was their first day, and they were slammed, but kept their good humor, which made it a truly splendid, welcoming, post-pandemic experience.

Wonderful dinner! The spinach artichoke dip and bread was incredible! And the desserts are to die for. But one of the best parts of the Weinhard Cafe is the friendly, engaging Jenn and owner, Mandy! We always feel so welcome there and you will too.
