Caribou Coffee - Dawsonville

Showed up at 10 (Google said they opened at 9:30 am) and walked up to the counter. Employee walked up and said they opened at noon so I stalled for a few hours and when I came back that afternoon there was a visible line and no employees in sight. Ended up leaving empty handed.I get employees are hard to come by right now, but I feel like it's common sense to not open when clearly you don't have the staff required.

I realize u hate your job, but you could at least pretend u liked it. Great coffee tho.

Never came to the counter or we would have got a cookie there were 4 people waiting with no one to be found ?

I just had the worst experience with this store. I work on the outlet when the ridiculous shop is located. Last weekend one of my employees, who is white, when to get just empty cups. 5 to be exact. She was able to get them no questions asked and no charge. Today I went to get just 2 empty cups, mind you I'm black, they wanted to charge me. When I told them that they didn't charge my employee and wanted to know why it's different for me. Of course, I did not get an answer. I know the answer because it's obvious, you're racist.

Strange layout of the inside and cash register. There was one extremely unwelcoming employee, who just leaned against the counter while taking our order, and totally avoided eye contact. I'd rather have interacted with a coffee vending machine than this person tbh. Seemed clean enough and the drink was decent.
