Restaurant bewertenI’ve been here a few times and found the place Great value for money Fresh food and crunchy rolls Quick and friendly service I will definitely be coming back
Decided to try the Vietnamese food at Temptasian. Only had the sushi in the past, which has been consistently good. I asked if they had hot Vietnamese coffee, and answer was 'yes '. I proceeded to order one and was told that they only sell iced Vietnamese coffee! After pointing out that I had just been told that they have hot coffee the staff advised that they would make me one but it would take 10 minutes. I was happy with this as I know, from experience, that Vietnamese coffee takes longer as it is drip filter. I also ordered a cup of pho, which turned out to be a perfect lunch size. However, there was hardly any beef in it, and there was nothing in the cafe to advertise that it also has tripe. The broth lacked flavor and it was not served with accompanying herbs and condiments, apart from some basil that was in the soup. It seems that the pho is designed for takeaway only as it was served in a cup with a lid, but it would still be possible to provide some herbs and condiments. My coffee was way too sweet; it tasted like it was almost half condensed milk! The staff obliged when I asked for mot pre coffee to be added but it was still too sweet and I left with a sugar coated mouth. I was also disappointed that the coffee was served in a takeaway cup, especially as I had told the staff that I was going to eat in the cafe. Not very Eco friendly! The banh mi must be good though as there was a constant stream of customers ordering it. The meal was very cheap $9.50) but could easily be improved. I would go back, to try the banh mi, and also to have their sushi again. However, there is another cafe very close to my home which has far superior pho and Vietnamese coffee.
Food was fresh and tasty, if you like quick asian food, this is the place to go great value for money.
Nice cheap lunch, vietrolls, stir fired , sushi and cold rolls. They also do nice appetizers include pork buns, Thai sausages and others.
Great roast pork rolls at lunch time. Very good value at $5.50 and very big. Be prepared to line up at lunch time though.
