Gloria Jeans - DARWIN CITY

My girlfriend and I stopped by the restaurant midweek for a coffee. We ordered a regular coffee and a skinny flat white. Upon receiving and tasting the drinks, we noticed that they had skimped on the coffee. When we mentioned this to the staff, we were informed that we would need to pay extra for an additional shot.

I ordered coffee and one cup was great while the other was just ok. The food I ordered was terrible. The toasted chicken and avocado sandwich was very dry and clearly not fresh. I was hungry and the restaurant was closing, otherwise I would have returned it. The bread was so bad that I couldn't even eat it.

This restaurant consistently delivers a great cup of coffee in the city. While it may not be considered trendy, it is fast and reliable. I would definitely recommend it.

On our last visit to Darwin, we visited Gloria Jeans quite a few times as we enjoyed our first experience so much. This is a good place for a refreshing iced coffee drink or any of the regular choices of coffees. It is quite easy...to get a bit overheated while going for a walk in Darwin and this place just fit the bill with nice airconditioning and icy drinks. The staff was always friendly and relaxed and you felt ok to sit here for a while. Loved it!

This particular Gloria Jeans always has friendly staff. If you haven't tried their alternative coffee blend Serino' give it ago, I find the standard one quite bitter whereas this one isn't
