Shapla Indian - Darlington

I've had a couple of takeaways from Arvelli and we also had a birthday meal for 11 of us in the restaurant. Every dish we've had has been utter perfection! The chicken and lamb is the most lean and tender that I've ever tasted. Everything is so tasty and fresh, and of the highest quality. The owner is so warm and attentive and service is always friendly and welcoming. I've eaten at every Indian restaurant and take-away in town, but Arvelli is the best and will be my go-to every time from now on.

We ate here on Wednesday evening after recommendation from friends. Staff were very friendy and very helpful. The food was excellent, all very, very tasty. This from the poppadoms and pickles, rice dishes, main courses, side dishes and naan breads. We shall return shortly.

Best Pashwari naan ever ! Great service tonight from Raju and his team, explained all the food in detail, lovely poppodums and chutneys, all made in house, korma light and the right sweetness. This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Darlington. The service is top-notch and the food is exquisite. Make sure to book your next meal here. The tandoori thali was exceptional. I cannot wait to try another delicious special from my favorite restaurant.

While on vacation, I was searching for a restaurant to visit and came across this one with excellent reviews and a perfect 5-star hygiene rating. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I suggest trying different dishes on the menu instead of always ordering the same thing. We did this and were not disappointed! Despite living over 300 miles away, we will definitely make this restaurant a regular spot for us.
