Flagstaff Hotel - DARLINGTON POINT

Dined here before and was looking forward to doing it again...Prices a bit high for what we got....we ordered 1 x roast of the day and 1 x onion rings, then from salad bar/hot food bar....roast veg undercooked, broccoli tasted like soapy/bleached water, and most disappointing in this day of allergies, no idea what was in/on any of these salads of foods. Over all, we ate very little as were not sure of ingredients. My daughter had an allergic reaction to the broccoli, which she can normally eat..? We went back to tourist village and ordered pizza :(

Booked a table of 9 for a birthday with family! The service was great, all food came out at the same time. The salad bar had a great selection of hot and cold dishes, the bread is always toasted and warm which is awesome! I order this beauty (see photo attached) and can I say, it had the right amount of chilli, chicken, spaghetti ratio. I came here two years ago as I live on the other side of town and I order the salmon and it was fantastic, the presentation was immaculate. Thanks for the good experience!

Food usually very good and service excellent. I am a very frequent customer. However this time I was left standing for several minutes at the service counter whilst the senior female serving decided to staple papers together and then chat to the younger girl next to her who was serving another customer.Not happy at all, I left.Disappointing as dining here is usually a pleasant experienceI hope this feedback is helpful ps: my waistline thanks you for the cheesecake I didn't have03/05/2017

A good Sunday lunch.....the food and service both excellent. Lovely roast pork and veggies and my wife's pasta was really tasty. Well priced and we were surprised by the quality of it all. Tempting to do it again!!

Das Lokal ist groß und hell, die großen Fenster schauen hinunter auf Bäume, die den Autoverkehr zum Teil verdecken, besonders, wenn man einen Tisch beim Fenster bevorzugt. Die Menü Auswahl ist großzügig, für jeden Geschmack ist gesorgt. Dazu gibt es noch, nach der Bestellung der Hauptmahlzeit, eine Bistro-Auswahl zur Selbstbedienung, mit einem Angebot von zwei verschiedenen Suppen, heißen Gemüsebeilagen, sowie vielerlei Salaten. hier gibt es auch eine Bar, wenn man alkoholische Getränke oder Säfte benötigt, oder eine Flasche Tafelwasser frei Haus. Wir finden dieses Restaurant so nett, dass wir über 20 Kilometer nicht scheuen, hier her zu kommen.Das Hotel bietet auch den Kunden ein weiteres Vergnügen - wer gerne an den 'Pokie'-Maschinen spielt, kommt auf seine Kosten, vorausgesetzt, man setzt noch mehr ein, als man zu verlieren bereit ist.
