Restaurant bewertenOne of my all time favorite worst dining experiences. Thought about giving 5 stars because I'll always have a good laugh at the memory, but 1 star is more accurate of how the typical person will feel. The kitchen appears to be a grease closet with one man making everything in a few frying pans on a gas range. Canned goods are in the common area of the restaurant. Oscar the grouch's trash can is clean in comparison. The waitress tells us she's out of a few things on the menu, which turns into about 70% of the items. I get a nice warm allagash white a few minutes after ordering. The food is probably what they serve in Ethiopian prisons, definitely not at respectable restaurants and homes. It is comically bad. The staff will be out of it. Everything that should be done will be done in the opposite manner. I still make fun of my friend for suggesting this place. So, in a way, I'm thankful I got the experience. Think the Sharknado movie
Best place to eat in the area. The waitress was beyond incredible at helping decide what to try. The food was top notch. The prices are so reasonable. It's so clean inside. It's such a gem
Wow, I have not had such a bad food experience in a long time. One dishes was super rare, the next so overcooked the meat was charred the ehole way through, and the chicken was very watery and poorly seasoned. Injera, lentils, cabbage, and collard greens were decent.
ERA is a restaurant and bar with mostly bar. The bartender is very down to earth and services the restaurant and bar. I've eaten at Ethiopian restaurants throughout the world and never have had this experience.
They might just have the best injera in town. Spongey, sticky, tangy. Love it.
