Kai's Place - Danbury

This is hands down the best place for Chinese take-out. Super friendly and very good quality food. A few times now they have thrown in complimentary desserts like almond cookies and freshly fried dough with my take-out. Such a pleasant surprise which are equally as delicious.

It was good. Service was great. Hot out of the pan fresh.

Ordered out from here last night. There was a long line, and some people thought they could jump the line for their take out. Some left rather than wait, making it worse for everybody because the kitchen was making orders that never got picked up. My suggestion is to require payment when placing orders. Our food was very good. The dumplings had a nice pork flavor and the egg rolls were better than most. General Tso's Chicken and Chicken with Garlic Sauce were both delicious, and not that spicy. I ordered mild, and would request one level higher next time so it's a bit more tangy. Will return again!

Thanks for being open on Christmas, this has been our favorite Chinese spot in Danbury for a while because the Orange Chicken rocks but that sealed the deal. I'm a lifelong customer now

This place is by far the best experience I've had at a take-out Chinese food location. The food far more delicious than any in the surrounding areas the staff is very kind and generous. I never leave unsatisfied, they always exceed any expectations. They are roughly 15 min away from my residence; even though I have other choices closer, it's still far more rewarding to go here. A true diamond in the rough!
