Oysterhead Pizza - Damariscotta

The best pizza I’ve ever had. We regularly order from this local gem. My personal favorites are the Angelo Pappas and Thomas Sullivan Magnum III. Don’t forget to try their fresh made salad as well. The lemon vinaigrette they include with it is divine.Staff are always kind and courteous.

Everything at Oysterhead Pizza is consistent, delicious, and thoughtfully made. My favorites are their deep dish pepperoni pizza, “Drexl Spivey” and the perfectly cheesy, “Kevin McCallister”. They have wonderful staff and the vibe is friendly and welcoming.

Got 2 calzones today and the top was burnt and the bottom was uncooked. The dough along the pinched crust was totally uncooked. Unfortunate because this place is local. We called and told the person that answered and they just said sorry. 2 calzones and some potato dish for $45+ and just a sorry for totally uncooked food. Not impressed.

My only regret is not trying this pizza sooner! I’m in the area frequently and haven’t had a chance to try the pizza until yesterday. A friend and I shared a 12 inch Ella Bee pizza and it was amazing. The crust was perfect, the ricotta was creamy and the sausage was well seasoned. And each bite you had all the flavors. It is probably my favorite pizza place around
