Restaurant bewertenMy first meal after a 13-hour flight to SFO! This place is my friend going to sandwich place (as they live in Daly) and the man of my friend chose the Matt Cain for me and I liked it that the Dutch knirschen is new to me and I would like to clog a simple piece of him with butter! Anywho, the content of Matt Cain is beautiful and fleshy, but I must say that the sandwich had a touch of sweetness that I did not have a fan of. I like my sammies hearty so am not sure whether it was the bread or the sauce. I'd try another sandwich. I feel like it's going well with a side of salty chips or even a Gherkin (Pickkle).
The price on Matt Cain then give a sandwich without meat on 1/4 of it????????
I have been ordering online from this location for about 5 years now, and for the first few years, everything was great. The last couple years, my order has never been right. I understand when things are sold out, but it always gets arbitrarily swapped out for something I can't eat, sometimes because of a food allergy, when I was never contacted about alternatives. And half the time, items are missing entirely. The food I receive that I can eat is still good, but if I order something, I should receive what I ordered, or be asked if I would like something else instead if it is unavailable.
This restaurant specializes in hot sandwiches, which are currently popular. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches with famous names. We tried the Jeremy Stoppelman, Madison Bumgarner, and the Matt Cain sandwiches, all of which were delicious. Each sandwich had a unique signature sauce. The average price for a sandwich was about $10, which is typical for today. Don't forget to ask for the complimentary apple caramel lollipops.
The sandwiches at this restaurant are incredibly tasty. My favorite was the Madison Baumgartner on Dutch crunch bread, which was recommended to me. The staff is efficient in taking orders and handling the line, which is beneficial given the current situation.
