Restaurant bewertenWent downhill. Terrible management. Non Japanese service. If you want to order yakitori, it's a set $30) for each person at table even if the others don't want to eat yakitori. I think the owner/chef just wants to call it quits.
The atmosphere was great. The sushi was very good. The servers were good. It took so long to get food. There was only one chef, and while seating was limited, he could not handle all the tables by himself. For the prices we paid, the restaurant needs to staff up accordingly. We will not be repeat customers, which is a bummer, but I will not risk having to pay this amount of money and be disappointed again.
Overpriced, overhyped, food is just OK. Having lived in Japan for 10 years, I love Japanese food, so I've given this place a try four times so far. The place has a good vibe, similar to authentic Japanese izakaya. However, overall it's disappointing.First of all, the food is way overpriced especially given the many choices available in Dallas for similar restaurants. Second this place is overhyped, hard to get table, crowded. Finally, for the price you pay, the food quality is inconsistent. Last night for example the miso cod was delicious, but the sushi rice was undercooked. Menu changes often and menu selection was very sparse this night with many items not available. There are better options available in Dallas area.
The most fake Japanese place I've ever been. I have visited Tei Tei, Tai-Ann, Uchi, Sushi Sake, Nobu.... whole place is fraud. It is a rip-off place, it is totally not in Japanese culture, I am not sure why they still in business? First of all, the menu is only one page and they claim is Yakitori restaurant but their menu only a few simple yakitori dishes and price is outrages compares to Nobu and other well known Japanese restaurant. Only one chef and one waitress serves the entire restaurant, we came in at 8 pm till 9 pm there was not a single dish being served. It is horrible ! we could not wait any more just left. I ordered a bottle sake recommended by waitress with no price tag being told in advance, when we left the bill is $200 for the sake.I feel an obligation to report this to all foodies, this is the restaurant you all should avoid.
Out of business. Don't go here okay I wish yelp had a way to annotate this, so you don't waste your time.
