Merle's -b-q - Dallas

My family has eaten at Merle’s for a number of years and the quality and definitely the service has faded away! Ordered $45 worth of food to pick up, waited 20 minutes while my order sat at the window…while the what appeared to be teenage girls tried to take orders and make the food. I finally got my order and left and when I got home, my husband’s order didn’t have the 2 sides that he paid for and the rest of the food was blah. I never leave a bad review, but dang Merle’s….do better. Won’t be eating there again.

Brisket dried out, onion rings soggy and greasy. Expensive for what you get.

Fantastic BBQ spot. Food was delicious. Decor was fun. Felt very welcome. A must stop for anyone in the area. Gives me even more reasons to fly down to check on mom and dad.

Catfish was good and would have been better with tarter sauce BBQ was good the salad was not a $10 salad
