J J's Chicken And Rice - Dallas

After reading the reviews, we decided to take a chance on this restaurant. It seemed like a hit or miss opportunity. The woman taking our order over the phone seemed uninterested, bordering on rude. The orange chicken was decent, but I have had better and worse. My husband's general tso's chicken was fresher than the orange chicken, with more tender pieces. The fried rice was lacking in flavor. The egg rolls were just okay, nothing special. It was a nice change from the average fast food options at truck stops. Overall, we would consider eating here again.

The Orange Chicken with Fried Rice and an Egg Roll costs approximately $12.50. The cashier was efficient and to the point, resulting in quick service.

The lo mein at this restaurant is fantastic. The beef was tender and the vegetables were fresh. The fried rice was a bit plain, but the egg roll was amazing. This is definitely the best inexpensive Chinese meal I have ever had.

Good food for the price. Does somewhat lack on flavor but will continue to go when in the area.
