Murdoch's Backyard Pub - Cypress

Super cool restaurant and pub. Tons of room for large parties and kiddos. Burgers, salads, chicken tenders and sandwiches, and specialties and a FANTASTIC beer selection. Food is delicious. Atmosphere is amazing. All towns need a place like this one.Service has always been fantastic. Play ground, slide, and fun things like Ferry Landing Area where there are a bunch offlowers and butterflies and a cute ferry hut.

Fantastic food and relaxing environment. It was perfect for our kids to reunite with their cousins. There was no rush to leave as the owners make you feel comfortable to explore their cozy spot chicken coop, bee hives, playgrounds. My only regret is itwas too hot outside to get the fire pit going!

One of the best burgers I've tried that incorporated a grilled pineapple slice. Unique, open spaces, and large menu. The in-house ketchup is delicious as well.

Staff were really nice. Excellent beer selection. Way too expensive though for the quality of food though. $18 for a burger that was so salty I could only eat half of it and wasn?t able to taste all the flavors I was excited about when I ordered it (orderedthe Korean burger). The chicken strips were large and breaded well but the black pepper was overpowering. Potatoes were largeand cooked and seasoned well though, ended up being the best tasting part of it IMO. Lovely atmosphere, would come back againfor drinks and live music only.
