Frida Kahlo Restaurante - Playa del Carmen

Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed/sealed. It seems they are looking for a new location.

This morning, we had made reservations for brunch to celebrate a birthday, only to arrive and discover that the restaurant had permanently closed a week ago. Nobody had thought to inform us via call, text, or email. I even received a confirmation email from OpenTable just yesterday confirming our table for five. This lack of consideration for international patrons was very disappointing.

What a disappointment! We arrived and the restaurant was closed with no one bothering to inform us. It was supposed to be a dinner for a special event and I had to scramble at the last minute to find another place.

This place was soooooo goodI have never tried guacamole but it was so deliciousThe queso dip was good as well.

This is a bad tourist restaurantThe food was okay, the service was slow and everything was overpriced.
