Fortune House - Cumberland

Today on Thursday we went to eat. service very poor. sa for 10 minutes before the waiter came to the table. they're bringing me my guts as an appetizer. they never lured my men in computer. christine wasn't there. I have all the information. call christine. We usually love this place, but now not on New Year's Day or Thursday.

Terrible. on 20th February 2015 my family and I went to fortune home to eat dinner. it is usually quiet and they have decent chineses. Except in this night, the owner cried at the top of her lungs at one of her new associates, accused her of stealing money and ordering up to running that this girl said that only 15-16 years old and always very nice when we came in. that was disturbing to observe, an adult woman who screams at one of her coworkers during our dinner, the restaurator was full and christine put this young girl in tears...absolutley shameful. Just awesome!. Fortune House has the best Chinese in the state. Always good service. Szechuan beef is awesome. Place is small so her may be a wait. But it's definitely worth it.

The best Chinese Restaurant in Cumberland. We have eaten at most of the Chinese restaurants on Mendon Road and Fortune House is the hands down best place. They have a big menu with items you don't see everywhere. The Scallion Pancakes are awesome!!! The owners are so nice and friendly and the service is very good.

Nice place, decent food. I certainly enjoyed the Chinese food here; seems like a step from the normal fare offered at a typical restaurant; nicely cooked dishes, authentic enough flavors, well presented. However, I wouldn't go there with a friend who is fluent enough in Chinese to understand the staff, since you might feel a little degraded afterwards. Perhaps that level of an authentic experience is why the food is so good?
