Cudlee Creek Restaurant Tavern and Caravan Park

So near the cudlee creek zoo............a must if visiting the area. The Restaurant Tavern is a good old fashioned Australian pub serving great meals at a great price

Very ordinary food, I would not recommend at all for the food. Friendly staff but not much in the way of atmosphere.

We stayed in the Caravan park in one of the cabins.it was basic as was the price $66. Very Good value for the money., but it was Clean, Comfortable and contained everything we needed. We went for a meal at the tavern. Prices were very reasonable and the size of the meals were a Big surprise, I had warm chicken salad and my husband had crispy chilli chicken , The hot veg and salad bar were included in the price of the meal but we had sufficient on our plates the meals were beautifully cooked and well presented. Certainly worth another visit in the near future. We would highly recommend the tavern restaurant to anyone who likes a great meal at great prices.

Despite the fact that I felt I'd time warped to Wolf Creek when I walked into this place, the Chicken Pie was actually great and the Pulled Pork Roll was terrific. Both were served with lovely salted fries which was probably overkill for a quick lunch. The place was almost empty but the service was quick and enthusiastic and I'd stop by again if I needed a quick lunch. The menu was actually quite extensive with most items being a little heavy for a quick bite but based on what I tasted I suspect it would all be delicious. So don't be put off by appearances and give it a go if you're in the area.

We finished a lovely day in Cudlee Creek by having lunch in the restaurant. Two adults and 3 kids. The menu had something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. They have thought of everything by keeping the small poker machine area quite separate from the bar and restaurant. They have an area dedicated to arcade games for the kids and young adults alike. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.
