Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Crystal Lake

I didn't take any pictures, but I ordered a couple of smoothies and was very pleased with them. The staff created a friendly atmosphere. The wait for the two smoothies was not too bad, I believe it took about 5-7 minutes.

I placed a delivery order at this restaurant twice in the same day, about 20 minutes apart. The owner/manager who was working on March 28th in the morning seemed very concerned about where I was picking up my order. Even though I entered through the door and a staff member approached me to inquire before I could even turn the corner, I politely responded and left. Shortly after, the owner/manager made sure I knew where to pick up my order, though their approach felt somewhat patronizing. Thank you to the staff at the hills location for being friendly, in contrast to the experience at the crystal lake location.

The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the location is clean. The parking can be a bit bothersome, but the smoothies are definitely worth it!

The first time, nice to look inside. the menu looks good. quesadillas look great. but I was disappointed. it was a light snack also with one side. mostly tortilla and very small amount huh. the edge of the tortilla until the filling was 3 inches of nothing. I know now.

Best smoothies ever. Great consistency the workers are all friendly too. Teagan helped me out with my nutritional questions too. It’s a happy spirited place inside. Definitely recommend!
