Restaurant bewertenComplaint to DoubleTree Resort, Boston and the Hilton ChainAs a travel agent with years of experience, it's my duty to alert future guests and colleagues about a deeply concerning situation I experienced at the DoubleTree Resort in Boston. Two days ago, one of my earbuds disappeared from my nightstand. Thanks to modern technology, I was able to track it within the hotel using Apple's tracking application. However, in an outdated and backward move, the hotel management not only dismissed this technological evidence but also refused to allow me access to the area where it was located. The issue isn't about the cost of the equipment. It's about the hotel's intolerant attitude, its lack of collaboration with a guest, and its rigid procedures that seem to override basic human decency and understanding. Their rationale was that since only one earbud was missing, it isn't considered a theft. This logic is absurd and shows a complete lack of empathy and concern for a guest's experience.Beyond my individual experience, this raises serious concerns about the chain hotel's procedures and policies. Under the Consumer Protection Act, establishments are expected to act in good faith and in the best interest of the customer. By failing to do so, they're not only breaking trust but potentially flouting regulation.I strongly advise reconsidering your choice of this hotel and possibly the entire chain, not just because of the poor service I experienced, but also for how they manage their complaints and procedures. It's crucial for hotels to value and respect the trust of their guests and to adapt to current technological tools. Regrettably, my experience indicates that DoubleTree Resort in Boston, and by extension, the Hilton chain, have failed in this essential aspect.#DoubleTreeFail #HiltonNoThanks #AdaptOrLoseTrust
Room was nice and big (family suite w ‘urban’ bed). Room was clean, very good room service. Restaurant selection was a bit too basic (food quality was good though). Restaurant staff was very friendly and welcoming, great service.Wi-fi in the room was not working well, disconnecting all the time and slow, very annoying.
The room was excellent! We had 4 people and it was so comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel! I was visiting my son at MIT and the location was perfect.
Stayed over night in a balcony suite. Was was great time with the wife! Clean hotel and room. Would stay again.
Sophia was very nice and greeted us warmly during check-in. The rooms and bed were comfy but the central air was unbearably loud, it would go on and off and on and off all night, there was no way to keep it on consistently so that made the noise worse, I woke up a few times at night because of this. Second night we turned off the central air so it didn't make these loud noises but it got hot. Parking is quite expensive, $47 overnight. The pool and hot tub were really nice though!
